"Tricky Women Bug Me!"

Caleb is 8 years old and in the second grade this year. He came home from school the other day and said..."Mom, I have to tell you what happened today! I was doing my homework and a little girl came and ask me for help. We were working together when another little girl came and wanted to work with us. She suddenly left and said. 'Oh, I didn't realize. I will leave you two alone.' She went and told everyone that we were having a study date and not to disturb us. This really bugged me. I do not like tricky women."

Caleb has had 3 little girls ask for his phone number and tell him that he is cute. I asked Caleb how he responds to this and he said..."In my head I think, duh, have you seen my dad? But, I usually just say thanks." I asked Caleb if he actually handed out his phone number and he said..."Yes ma'am, I have to be like Jesus. He said let the little children come to me, so I say Let the little girls come to me."

Caleb is a funny kid, but when did 8 year olds start exchanging phone numbers? I pray for all of my boys that God would protect them from lust, pornography and forward women. I just didn't realize this prayer was so important so early in life. I'm just glad that "Tricky women" bug him!

Psalm 119:9 "How can a young man keep his way pure, by living according to your word."

  1. Oh, I love the look! (where did you find it???) I think the only thing that bothers me a bit is the light color of the body of your posts... it makes is a bit hard to read... especially with the black border down the sides of your posts.

Other than that, your boy is precious! I can't wait to see what things Peter comes up with...
PRAY FOR ME!! I drop him off at school tomorrow for his first day of Kindergarten.

Great to see you out here in blog world! :)
    Love you,
