Then I began reading about your son, Matthew, and what he is going through. What a beautiful attitude he has toward his situation right now...I can see the positive mindset you seem to have toward life displayed in him as well.

I wanted to ask you if you have ever heard of Dr. Burzynski from Houston, Texas? He is a doctor who has been successful with treating cancers - especially in children with brain tumors/cancers. He personally discovered something in the human body which he termed "antineoplastons". He uses them to treat cancer. We ordered a documentary of him and heard testimony of people he had helped. One woman had been treated as a young person and now is an adult with children of her own.

I'm sure you are aware of many different treatments, both tradition and alternative (such as Dr. Burzynski), and not the least of which is the ultimate Healer, our Heavenly Father. However, after reading about Matthew, I just wanted to share this particular doctor's name with you in case you might want to contact him or read more about his work.

http://www.burzynskiclinic.com/

May God bring healing to Matthew and blessings to you and your entire family.

Rachel Hunt
http://rachelhunt.wordpress.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4428815718186476699.post-49258376303980213182011-01-05T22:11:56.038-06:002011-01-05T22:11:56.038-06:00Matthew is such an incredible young man. I wish you lived closer so I could know him too.

His comment reminded me of the day my oldest son Josh came home saying he wanted to be a martyr one day. I thought for sure he didn't know what that meant ... but he did. What he was really saying was he wanted to have a faith like that.

So do I.

Hug that sweet boy of yours for me, and tell him he's got an Aunt Glynnis in Glendale Arizona, and a place to say if he ever comes to see the Cardinals play.Glynnis Whitwerhttp://www.glynniswhitwer.comnoreply@blogger.com
